Description
This is a unique bike that grabs attention everywhere it goes. The black grey chrome combination is beautiful but I get most comments on the paint work, which was done by George Sedlak, Evel & Robby Knievel's paint man who's relationship started in the mid 1970's. George was originally located in Moline, IL when he started painting Evel's bikes and helmets and then relocated to California. At the time this bike was purchased new, it was transferred directly from the dealership to Mr. Sedlak's shop, who designed and painted the bike. The paint work on the bike is like the day it was painted, in fact the entire bike is virtually flawless. No scratches, dings or marks of any kind (other than one small mark on the frame under the tank hood) where the Harley dealership scratched it when installing a new battery. The scratch is on the tubular frame, NOT Sedlak's paint work. While it is easily fixed, in the second picture of the right side gas tank a very small chip can be seen, most of which is covered by the hood. Other than that mark, the bike is as new, could easily be sitting on a dealers show room floor as new. It has had meticulous care, stored in a heated garage most of its life and never rained on. If you are into showing a bike, this bike will fetch top prize in most shows. I have 400 miles on a new set of Metzeler 888's with Rinehart Racing exhaust. Needless to say, the bike is in perfect operating condition and I will extend a 30 day warranty to any buyer. Depending on distance, I will also consider free delivery to neighboring States.
