Carved Wood And Resin Hippocampus Fireplace Hadid Estate Le belvedere Mansion

I can honestly say I have never seen anything like this in person. This fireplace is out of the Le Belvedere mansion built by Mohamad Hadid father of Gigi and Bella Hadid .This home was listed at millon and was featured in both Forbes magazine and the Wall Street. After taking the fireplace out I could tell it was definitely something special . You could see that the backing to it is very old and that the upper part had been incorporated into it . There are many articles about this home where Mohamad had found certain pieces across the world on his travels and brought them in to incorporate into the home such as the amazing kitchen and I believe that this fireplace could have possibly of been another . There are two seats on either side of the opening to set on and enjoy the fire . It is all carved detail most of which appears to be carved resin to match the rest of the house . I am trying to find out more of a history on this . I do know that he spared no expense when building this home and had shipped most things in from Italy . Truly and amazing Estate . This is definitely one of those things that would be hard to ever find another . The fireplace is in overall good condition only the wooden mantle part was salvaged. The three pieces of blond stone /travertine was not part of the fireplace and was upon the owners request to leave behind allowing the measurements of the firebox to be flexible and reset with any stone .
