    Description

WWII Distinguished Flying Cross Medal DFC - Thick Frosted Navy Type Coffin Case. Condition is "Used".  FREE SHIPPING!  Shipped with USPS First Class.
Available is a World War II manufactured Distinguished Flying Cross Medal or DFC. Marked LIGI on back of slide brooch pin.  From the  frosted finish, you can tell the piece was made by the United States Mint for the Sea Services (Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard).  The medal comes on its original ribbon and slot broach.  As this type/variation of medal was eventually distributed to all the branches, it could also have been issued to a member of the Army or Air Force as well. The medal is completely unresearched.  I have nothing on the recipient.
The medal is in very good to excellent condition showing only light storage age.  Please be sure to check out the pictures I have posted and judge condition for yourself.
My father was a Colonel in the USAF and collected patches and medals from every Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine unit he visited all over the Country and World to give to me as souvenirs.  At least that is how it started, now I'm selling the collection AND buying and re-selling, seems this hobby is quite addictive!  Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First Class Package. Shipping is free!  Please view all pictures closely as they are to be considered part of the description. Thank you for looking. Please check out all my auctions and buy it now listings as they are part of my collection which I am currently liquidating. Lots more to come!
